This was a big week for me. I preached my first sermon in Dutch. This is me just a few minutes before my historical Sunday.

One of the ladies, who we call our "Dutch grandma" Annie, really reached out to us when we first came to the Dutch church in Hillegom. She is standing here with a lady who she meet at the grocery store and is now bringing to church regularly. Even in her golden years, she is a missionary in her village.


On occasion we will visit a university in the NL to see what the prospects are for establishing a ministry there in partnership with a church and to pray for the city. This is me on my favorite mode of inner city transport in Leeuwarden, which is in the province of Friesland.
